STRACHAN NOW ODDS-ON TO SUCCEED BURLEY AS SCOTLAND BOSS

William Hill have cut their odds about Gordon Strachansucceeding George Burley as the next permanent Scotland manager from 11/10 to 10/11. ‘Strachan is the only seriously backed candidate thus far but when and if Burley resigns or is sacked – and we offer 2/7 that that will happen before the end of the year – the market will really take off’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
