BARCA BOSS NEXT FOR UNITED?

WILLIAM HILL have slashed the odds about Barcelona’s Pep Guardiola becoming the next permanent Manchester United manager, from 14/1 to 7/1 fourth favourite. ‘There has been a flurry of support for Guardiola to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson, which has seen his odds halved’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

William Hill have opened a market on when Sir Alex Ferguson will step down as United boss, and make 2011 their 9/4 favourite. ‘We’ll all wake up one morning int the not too distant future to hear the news that Sir Alex has decided to quit – as, of course, we have once before – but this time he’ll almost certainly mean it on a permanent basis.’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
