A middle aged Rangers fan was smiling ear to ear following Rob Greens blunder on Saturday night and not just because he was Scottish. Whilst Rob Green was left red faced on Saturday evening, his namesake Rob, from Glasgow, was given a £15,000 boost to his bank balance! Englands draw against the States was the culmination of a £130 bet, placed at a William Hill betting office in Glasgow that also included South Africa to draw 1-1 and France to draw 0-0.

WITH INCREASING criticism of the omnipresent vuvuzela noise during World Cup games, William Hill are offering 50/1 that they will be officially banned at some stage before the World Cup Final is played.
