24,280/1 German Man Draws Ahead Against Bookies
A William Hill punter from Germany was celebrating after turning 0.66 (55p) into 16,024.80 (£13,354.22) after correctly predicting 11 draws over the weekend. The punter, from Goslar in Lower Saxony defied odds of over 24,280/1 to scoop his whopping windfall. The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, selected matches from across Europe, picking Austrian, English, French, German and Italian games to all result in a draw.
It is often said that draws are the hardest results to predict but this punter has managed to pick 11 in one weekend which is almost unheard of, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.
