ROO BET WAYNE EURO BAN WILL STAND
William Hill offer odds of 5/6 that the appeal against Wayne Rooney’s three match Euro 2012 ban will be rejected when it is heard this week – and 5/6 that it will be shortened as a result. ‘The FA seem to be steaming in all guns blazing with their appeal and are sounding confident that they will win the day. Not everyone shares their confidence and we have seen little cash for a successful outcome thus far’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills ARE confident that whatever the result of the appeal, Rooney will be included in Capello’s Euro squad, offering 1/16 he is, 7/1 he misses out.
AND Hills ARE BETTING ON HOW MANY GAMES ROONEY WILL START DURING THE TOURNAMENT AND OFFER 4/1 HE WILL START NONE AT ALL.
