Blanc Cut For Chelsea Job…4/1 Phantom Penalties At Old Trafford…1000/1 Ben Arfa Ballon D’or

Laurent Blanc has been cut from 12/1 to 7/1 to become the next Chelsea boss after various news reports indicating that Roman Abrahmovic is desperate to land the Frenchman as AVB’s permanent replacement. Jose Mourinho is the 9/4 favourite with Roberto Di Matteo 10/3 and Pep Guardiola 9/2. Claudio Ranieri has been sacked as Inter manager and William Hill are offering 3/1 that Andre Villas Boas gets the job.

“Because of what he did at Porto, AVB’s stock is still pretty high despite his nightmare stint at Chelsea and he could be quickly back on the managerial merry-go-round,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Manchester United moved three points clear at the top of the Premier League thanks to referee, Michael Oliver, missing what seemed like a blatant penalty and William Hill are offering 4/1 for any opposition team to win a penalty at Old Trafford during the rest of the season.

“Phantom penalties are nothing new at Old Trafford and the odds suggest that opposition sides will be up against it again,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Having moved three points clear, Hills are now offering a market on how many points Manchester United win the League by. They are 9/4 to fail to win the League and 11/2 to win the league on goal difference. They are 11/4 to win by one to three points and the same price to win by four to six points. They are 4/1 to win the League by seven or more points.

Papiss Demba Cisse has claimed that Hatem Ben Arfa is as good as Messi when he plays at his best but William Hill think the mercurial Frenchman has a way to go to reach those levels, offering 1000/1 that he wins the Ballon D’Or this season, compared to 2/7 Messi and 3/1 Ronaldo.

William Hill Odds:

Next Permanent Chelsea Boss: 9/4 Jose Mourinho; 10/3 Roberto Di Matteo; 9/2 Pep Guardiola; 7/1 Laurent Blanc; 8/1 Joachim Low; 8/1 Rafael Benitez; 10/1 David Moyes; 11/1 Fabio Capello; 20/1 BAR

3/1 AVB to become next Inter Milan manager
