JOHN TERRY 2/1 TO BE LEFT OUT OF ENGLAND EURO SQUAD
William Hill are offering odds of 2/1 that John Terry will NOT be part of the final England squad for the Euro 2012 tournament. ‘Reports suggest that Terry is not happy about losing the captaincy and there must be a possibility that he will decide to retire from representing his country’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
SCOTT PARKER BACKED TO BE NEW ENGLAND SKIPPER
SCOTT Parker has been backed from 8/1 to 9/2 second favourite to skipper England in their opening Euro 2012 match with William Hill, who make Steve Gerrard 8/13 favourite and also offer; 5/1 Frank Lampard; 9/1 Gareth Barry; 9/1 Joe Hart; 20/1 Ashley Cole; 33/1 Rio Ferdinand. ‘A little surprisingly., Parker has been the springer in the early market with punters believing the captaincy may now skip a generation.’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills OFFER 8/1 THAT FABIO CAPELLO WILL STAND DOWN AS MANAGER BEFORE EURO 12 BEGINS – 1/20 THAT HE DOESN’T DO SO.
