THE FIRST major gamble since the Euro 2012 draw has seen William Hill cut England’s odds of being eliminated at the Group stage of their campaign from 5/2 to 2/1. ‘No sooner did the 5/2 go out than unpatriotic punters were snapping it up and forcing us to take evasive action by cutting them to 2/1’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
