William Hill have cut the price of Joey Barton’s ban being eight or more games following 90% of all bets placed on the market being for over. He is now 4/7 to face a ban of over 7.5 games (5/4 not to).

“Joey has always been known for his pugnacious style, but he may have overstepped the line one too many times and our punters think the FA are ready to throw the book at the QPR captain,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Gary Neville has been called up to the England backroom staff and William Hill make the former United man 14/1 to be the next boss of the England National team. With the 23 man squad set to be named on Wednesday, William Hill are betting on which players make the grade. David Beckham’s contract with LA Galaxy is due to run out in November and William Hill think that his next contract will be in England offering 8/13 that he returns to these shores.
