William Hill have cut the odds of Carlos Tevezs next permanent club being based in South America from 9/2 to 6/4 following reports that Corinthians have made an offer for the want away striker. Real Madrid are 5/2, Inter Milan 5/1 and any English club 6/1. The odds of Stewart Downings next permanent club being Liverpool have also been slashed, from 4/7 to 2/9 while Arsenal have been pushed out from 13/8 to 3/1.
Liverpool appear to now be fully in the driving seat to get their man, while Corinthians have attempted to steal a march on any other potential Tevez suitors by making the first bid, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.
