William Hill offer 7/2 that Paul Scholes will be sent off during any competitive game this season following his return to Man U colours – and Hills are betting on how many starts he’ll make in the Premier League, amking 0-3 their 10/11 favourite, while he is 8/15 to fail to score in the Premier League this season. Hills also offer 5/2 about him playing in a Premier League game during the 2012/13 season for United. ‘Scholes’ unexpected comeback is likely to be short-lived if United get their full squad available, but it has certainly created a lively betting interest and he was well backed at 11/2 to score against City.’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
