Managerial Merry Go Round At Full Speed At Liverpool, Villa And Chelsea

After Brendan Rodgers turned down a move to Liverpool, William Hill now make Roberto Martinez Even money favourite to get the job on a permanent basis. Former Chelsea boss, Andre Villas Boas, is 4/1 with Rafa Benitez the 8/1 third favourite.

“There are many who would think that when you get offered a job t Liverpool you take it, but it seems that no one informed Brendan Rodgers of this and it now seems like Martinez is a shoo in for the job,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

After a sizeable gamble on Thursday, that saw Ole Gunnar Solksjaer backed in from 20/1 to 6/4 to be the next permanent Aston Villa manger, William Hill now make the Norweigian former United player, 1/10 red hot favourite to get the job.

“The gamble on Solksjaer has not abated and there are people backing him like he already has his feet under the table,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

With Chelsea playing in the Champions League on Saturday, Roberto Di Matteo will be hoping that whatever happens he will be offered the Chelsea job and Hills agree, offering 4/7 that he gets the job on a permanent basis, with Fabio Capello the 2/1 second favourite. After battiling for the last few years in La Liga, Mourinho and Guardiola are 11/2 for the gig.
