Will Big Sam Be The Big Man For England?

Sam Allardyce believes that he has what it takes to be the next England manager and claims that his stake would be strengthened should he get West Ham promoted this season. Allardyce is currently a 20/1 shot with William Hill to get the job after Fabio Capello leaves his post. Harry Redknapp is currently the 8/11 favourite with Martin O’Neill 8/1 second favourite.

“Big Sam has always been around the fringes whenever there has been discourse about the England manager’s job and he clearly thinks that he could still do the job,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Next England Manager: 8/11 Harry Redknapp; 8/1 Martin O’Neill; 11/1 Roy Hodgson; 12/1 Gareth Southgate; 16/1 Stuart Pearce; 16/1 Steve Bruce; 16/1 Joes Mourinho; 20/1 Sam Allardyce; 20/1 Carlo Ancelotti; 20/1 Gus Hiddink; 20/1 Arsene Wenger; 25/1 David Beckham; 25/1 Glenn Hoddle; 25/1 Mark Hughes; 25/1 Alan Shearer; 25/1 Ian Holloway…others on request
