Aston Villa caretaker boss Kevin MacDonald is now the 11/8 favourite to be named as the next permanent manager at Villa after it emerged that he did want the job and Sven is the second favourite at 11/4. “As long as he can write off the Newcastle defeat as a blip then Kevin MacDnald must have a great chance of getting the top job,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
