Friday “in running” betting / trading thoughts

Three potential back and lay “in running” options for me today:

3.05 Lingfield – Premium Charge is well drawn in 13 as a front runner and hence should trade much lower “in running”.

6.55 Ripon – Shotley Mac is an out and out front runner in a small runner field lacking in pace. He will be a decent price and almost certainly won’t win, but he should trade lower “in running”.

8.50 Hamilton – The Bear is drawn near the rail and can force the pace. Has run well at Hamilton in the past (3 wins, 1 second, 1 third from 10) so I am confident he will trade lower “in running”.

Thursday “in running” results

1.45 Chester – Leceile  started BSP 9.63 and traded as low as 2.02 “in running”. So an excellent potential trade.

5.05 Chester – Fastnet Storm  started BSP 6.6 and traded at only 6.0. So went shorter but not significant. However, was over 8.0 five mins before the off which would have offered a fair trade.
