With rumours persisting about whether or not England striker Andy Carroll has a future at Liverpool under Brendan Rodgers, William Hill have quoted the big striker to scorer fewer than nine goals in the Premier League this term. West Ham are rumoured to have agreed a loan deal but Newcastle could also be in the running. He is 7/4 to score between nine and 13 goals and 7/4 for more than 13.

Team GB square up against Uruguay on Wednesday night knowing that a draw will see them qualify from the Group. GB are the 6/4 slight favourites with William Hill. Underperforming Uruguay are 13/8 and the draw is 11/5.
Senegal are 10/11 favs to top Group A, GB an 11/10 chance to top the group and Uruguay the current outsiders at 5/1. Liverpool and Uruguay striker Luis Suarez is 6/1 to net first against GB and 7/4 any time, both prices shared by Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge. Highly rated Napoli forward Edinson Cavani has not had the best of tournaments so far but is 13/2 to turn that around with the opener on Wednesday. Liverpool have reportedly had a bid for Swansea midfielder Joe Allen rejected as Brendan Rodgers goes back to his old club to pick up the midfield maestro. He may not have signed yet but William Hill have him at 2/1 to start 26 or more games for the Anfield club this season, 11/4 between 21 and 25, 11/4 between 16 and 20 and 11/4 between 11 and 15. It is 9/2 that he starts less than ten games.
Despite Brendan Rodgers appointment as the Reds manager they are still expected to come up short in the race for Champions League football. They are 4/7 to finish between fifth and tenth, 11/5 for between second and fourth and 10/1 to finish between 11th and 17th. It is 25/1 that Liverpool win the Premier League and 80/1 that they will be playing Championship football in 2013/14.
Allen is the kind of pace dictating midfielder that Rodgers likes in his teams and it is fully expected that Liverpool will go back to Swansea with another offer, said William Hill spokesman Mark Young.

William Hill rate Brendan Rodgers as their 1/12 odds on favourite to be named as the next Liverpool manager, with Roberto Martinez his nearest challenger at 6/1. Whoever gets the job, Hills are not convinced that they will have enough firepower to take a Champions league spot and they are 5/2 to finish in the top four.
