Ally McCoist was hamstrung in his attempts to sign a striker to replace the departed Nikica Jelavic and William Hill make the Rangers boss 7/2 favourite to be the fourth SPL boss to leave his job. Paulo Sergio is 5/1 with Jim McIntyre the 7/1 third favourite.

If Rangers lose any more ground at the top of the SPL, Ally could be given the boot, but with his hands having been tied by the restrictions he is working under, he could decide to walk away of his own volition, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.
