Dont Worry Becks, Bookies Say Bid On Track
Despite the unsavoury allegations emerging in the press, William Hill are of the opinion that they have not harmed the English bid for the 2018 World Cup. England remain the Even money favourites to host the competition with Russia priced at 7/4 and Spain are the third favourites.
Becks was worried that the sordid allegations would hit Englands hopes of hosting the tournament, however, the odds suggest that the bid remains as strong as ever, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.
