HUGHES FANCIED FOR VILLA SWITCH
William Hill have made Mark Hughes 11/10 favourite to succeed Gerrard Houllier as permanent manager of Villa after stories circulated suggesting that the current boss may not return to his role following illness. There are those who believe Hughes was a Villa target when the job became vacant after Martin ONeills departure, so he could well be interested this time round should the position become vacant imminently said Hills spokesman Graham Sharpe.
