Championship Weekend Specials: Bumper Turnover Expected
The football league season kicks off this weekend after a long summer break and William Hills football punters are chomping at the bit with Leicester (5/1), Charlton (9/1) and Crawley (10/3) all proving popular to win their respective divisions. In the Premier League, Manchester United (2/1)and Liverpool (12/1) are both very popular.
With a full weekends worth of Championship fixtures, Hills are offering a number of match specials and make the match between Peterborough and Crystal Palace the 11/2 favourite to be the top scoring match and are offering 12/1 about Burnley being the fastest scoring side with the same price offered for Nottingham Forest, Peterborough, Brighton and West Ham to be so. 15/8 is offered about there being two red cards this weekend, while 9/4 is available for one and 11/2 four or more.
We are expecting record turnover this season as with 48 hours to go, we have already laid half a million pounds and the last few hours are always the busiest, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.
