Could Moses Lead Chelsea To The Promised Land Again?

With Chelsea having had their first approach for Victor Moses rebuffed William Hill question where he will be at the beginning of next season. So often used to getting their way, Chelsea are 4/7 to land the young striker and 11/8 he will still be at Wigan.

“Abramovich can quite often get like a dog with a bone, as his dogged pursuit of Jose Mourinho has shown in the past and we think that the same determination will prove too much for Wigan this summer,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Chelsea have already signed Eden Hazard and Marko Marin this summer and seem to be on the hunt to strengthen their Champions League winning squad. William Hill believe that 3-4 new signings (4/6) will start on the first day of next season for the Blues. 0-2 is 7/4 and 5+ is 5/1.

Andre Villas Boas is the 2/7 favourite with William Hill to take over at Tottenham despite the clubs links with France boss Laurent Blanc, who is 3/1 for the job. Luka Modric is 8/11 to still be at White Hart Lane for the start of next season. Gareth Bale is 4/9 and Rafael Van der Vaart is 8/15.

“Overlooking his Chelsea experience, AVB has a great managerial record and it would seem that some of the top players will stay to be part of the revolution,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
