William Hill Offer Season Long Betting For Fans Of Every Team

While most fans of Premier League teams may not realistically be able to back their side to win the league or even avoid relegation, William Hill are ensuring that they will have the option to back their side to improve upon last season’s performances. Not only can they back their side to finish higher than last season, they can also back the side to finish lower, or in the same position.

“As a fan of Fulham for example, you are not realistically going to be able to back your side to win the league while at the same time the price that you will get for your side to stay up is incredibly short,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “We are enabling every fan to have a positive (as well as a negative and a neutral) bet on their side depending on how they think the season will pan out.”

How will your side fare in 2012/13?

11/12 Position Team Higher Same Lower
1 Man City N/A 13/10 4/7

Sunday Stroll For Chelsea And City

The European champions and Premier League champions kick off their Premier League campaign on Sunday. Both are odds on favourites to win with Chelsea 4/6 and Manchester City 1/5 and both are expected to cruise to victory with William Hill offering 13/1 that Chelsea and Manchester City win by 3 or more goals. The City game against Southampton is 4/6 to produce the most goals on Super Sunday, with Wigan vs Chelsea 9/4.

Victor Moses has been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer and will be 11/1 to score first against his potential suitors. “Both Chelsea and City will want to send out a message to their rivals with big victories and the odds suggest that they will do so with relative ease,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Man City Backed To Win Record Breaking 2012/13 Season

The new Premier League season is just around the corner and William Hill make Manchester City the 6/5 favourites to lift the trophy and Hill’s punters agree. City are the second best backed side with only Liverpool attracting more money – largely down to the fact that one punter has staked £22,000 e/w on the Reds winning the Premier league. For the first time in Premier League history, punters are mostly staying away from Manchester United who are the 5/2 second favourites for the trophy.

At the other end of the table, the three new sides will be hoping to emulate the success of Swansea, Norwich and QPR and Hills offer 3/1 that Southampton, Reading and West Ham follow suit.

“Success for the newly promoted sides will always be based on whether they survive or not and we think there is a very good chance that they will all survive this time around,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

This year could well be a record breaker and William Hill offer 20/1 about any player bagging a double hat-trick and the same price that any team scores 10 or more goals in a single game. However, some things never change and 11/4 is offered that any opposition side wins a penalty at Old Trafford.

Discipline will be at the forefront of everybody’s mind after Branislav Ivanovic’s red card in the Community Shield and William Hill offer 6/1 that QPR are the side that sees the most reds while their manager Mark Hughes is 9/1 favourite to be the first manager to be sent to the stands.

“The Community Shield enables sides to get one over on their prospective title rivals but we think that if Chelsea lose this one, the pressure could be on Di Matteo already,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
