FOLLOWING the latest controversy over a ‘did it cross the line?’ goal, William Hill are offering 5/2 that goal-line technology will be in place in Premier League matches before the first day of the 2012-13 season (2/7 that it will not). ‘This incident has already provoked huge debate, which might at last result in the issue being properly addressed’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe, ‘When all is said and done that one decision might effectively result in Manchester United failing to win the title they have been so heavily backed to capture.’
