£100 Million Transfer Chest For Avb?

Reports in the press are suggesting that Andre Villas Boas will have a hefty transfer budget to spend on new players as Tottenham look to catapult themselves back into the Champions League and Hills offer 7/4 that he is successful in doing so.

First the exits: Luka Modric is 4/6 to move to Spain and join Real Madrid, 5/2 for a Chelsea move and 5/1 for a move up to Old Trafford. The other main player linked with a move is Jermain Defoe, who is 9/2 to join QPR, 7/1 for an Aston Villa transfer and 8/1 to go to Liverpool or back to West Ham.

AVB has already signed his first player in Gylfi Sigurdsson and others are expected to follow shortly. Portugal midfielder Joao Moutinho who worked with AVB at Porto is 2/1 to be at Tottenham when they face up against Newcastle on the first day of next season. Marseille striker Loic Remy is 2/1 to join and 4/11 not to, whilst Russian Euro 2012 star Alan Dzagoev is 5/1 to be there and 1/9 he won’t.

“It looks like Spurs will be one of the big spenders this summer and in order to fund the spending spree we expect a couple of big name exits,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
