PUNTERS BOWLED OUT AS PAKISTAN BOWL NO NO-BALLS
Cricket punters who bet on the first ball Pakistan bowled to England in their T20 game on Sunday being a no-ball at odds of 10/1 were left out of pocket, and those who gambled on the Pakistan bowlers sending down at least one no-ball during the course of the match at odds of 4/7 were also losers.
‘We took the decision to accept bets on whether there would be any no balls bowled by the Pakistani bowlers and also on what would happen with the first ball they bowled.It was the first time we had opened such a book, but were confident there would be no problems in doing so.” said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe,’We were pleased with the punter response, which saw us winning 50% of the four figure sum we took on the no-ball at any time market, on which we accepted three three figure sums including one bet of £350.
