You Bet Englands Women Quarter Final Failure
Englands Women eased through to the Quarter final stage of the womens World Cup although William Hill think that a place in the Semi Finals will be a step too far for Hope Powells offering 4/7 that they are knocked out in the next round. They are 2/1 to be knocked out in the Semi Finals, 7/1 to be runners up and 20/1 to win the tournament. Kelly Smith, once again, failed to find the net against Japan and Hills are offering Even money that she fails to score a goal at any point during the tournament.
England finally upped their game against Japan but the odds suggest they will be faced with an uphill challenge, whoever the face in the next round, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.
