Hills Saved From Monster Payout By European Minnows
William Hill were celebrating a fantastic night of Champions League football as both English sides taking part were held to draws. Early estimates suggest that Hills were saved from paying out almost £350,000 on just the 90 minutes alone.
We are popping the champagne at the moment as the unlikely combination of Genk and Marseille have saved us from a monster payout, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly. Our early estimate is that we have been saved from having to pay out around £350,000 on just 90 minutes and when you factor in coupons, you could be looking at a half a million.
Hills are offering 8/1 about an all English Final this season and 40/1 for an all London Final.
