You Bet: England Will Ring Changes After Carroll’s Debut Fizzles Out

England had the better of the closing stages against France, but could not overcome the two goal deficit that the visitors had amassed by the 55th minute. With a relatively untried formula and team on show tonight, William Hill believe that the England team that lines up against Wales will be a lot more recognisable and offer 11/10 that either four or five of the team that started against France line up for the Three Lions next competitive fixture. “Tonight’s game was not the most enjoyable of games to watch and with such an inexperienced team, it was always going to be difficult, however, Capello will surely ring the changes by the time the Wales game comes around and his side are still odds on to qualify for the Euro’s,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
