WITH Martin O’Neill’s rumoured return to management at West Ham now apparently ruled out, William Hill have opened a book on whether he will be back in management before the first day of the next Premier League season – and if so, where? Hills make Liverpool 5/1 to be his next port of call within that timeframe.
‘O’Neill is too big a managerial talent and too active a man to want to remain in exile for an extended period of time, so he seems almost certain to return to management – but when and where will that be?’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
