One William Hill client suffered serious collateral damage amounting to £110,000 when South Africa put an end to Frances World Cup dreams.
The punter, a telephone client, placed a £55,000 each way bet on France winning the World Cup before the tournament, but unfortunately for the punter.
The French will now set their sights on reaching the next major tournament Euro2012.
