Rooney Front Runner For Pfa Award

Wayne Rooney performed well over the weekend and William Hill have installed him as the early front runner for the PFA Player of Year award at 8/1, with Luis Suarez 10/1 Ashley Young appears to have blended seamlessly into Manchester United’s side and he is 12/1.

“Rooney opened his account with a well taken goal and his countless flicks and pinpoint passes show that he is truly back to his best,” said Hill’s spokesman. “What a difference a year makes.”
