Dan The Man And How Many Goals Will England Euro Top Scorer Notch ?
TWO GOALS AGAINST DUTCH THREE IN ENTIRE EURO FINALS?
WILLIAM HILL have opened a book on how many goals Englands top scorer in the Euro finals will score and make THREE their 2/1 favourite, with TWO a 9/4 chance and ONE, the winner in the last World Cup, a 7/2 shot. Whoever manages the side in the Euros will need to prioritise his strikers pretty quickly as, at the moment, there are several contenders to start up front in the opening game to stake a claim for a permanent place in the side said Hills spokesman Graham Sharpe.
And Hills make Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck their 11/2 joint favourites to top score for the country innthe tournament.
DAN THE MAN?
William Hill are betting on which Dan – Sturridge or Welbeck, will score more goals and play more minutes during the Euro finals – and reckon Welbeck is likely to outdo Sturridge in both areas. ‘The two Dans are amongst our most promising players and it will be very interesting to see which of the two enjoys the better tournament’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
