The World Cup 2018 and 2022 bids host cities are being decided on 2nd December 2010 and William Hill make Russia the Even money favourite for 2018 and Qatar the 4/9 favourite for 2022. Englands bid for 2018 had been as short as 1/3, however, since the cash-for-votes was exposed, the price has drifted out to 13/8.
Having seemed destined at one point to have the World Cup on our doorstep, it now seems a trek to Russia will be in order in 2018, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.
