WILLIAM HILL have closed their book on whether Kenny Dalglish will become caretaker manager at Liverpool whilst heading up the search for a new permanent boss. ‘We have taken bets of up to £200 for Kenny to become caretaker boss from sources we would expect to be unsually well informed about activities at Anfield, so decided to close the book’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills make Dalglisgh 9/4 second favourite to assume the managerial role on a permanent basis, with Martin O’Neill 6/4 favourite and Roy Hodgson 3/1 third best ahead of Guus Hiddink at 8/1 and Jurgen Klinsmann at 10/1.
