SWISS BACKED TO ROLL OVER ENGLAND

William Hill say punters are placing bigger bets on Switzerland than England to win their Euro qualifier – ‘We have taken bets of 1500 euros and £1200 for the Swiss at 7/2, along with scores of other, smaller bets, while the support for England consists pretty much just of the two £1100 bets we have taken for them at 5/6 – for once, and it is exceedingly rare – we face a much higher liability for England’s opponents and as our book stands pre-kick off the Swiss are likely to be a six figure loser for us, thus enabling us to support England for once – unless there is a late rush of support.’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
