Ireland Down And Out And Set To Be Hammered Italy

Ireland’s chances of finishing their Euros campaign with a win look very slim, with William Hill offering 10/1 for a win for Trap’s men. Italy are 1/4 for the win with the draw offered at 5/1. After conceding the fourth fastest Euros goal ever against Croatia and then conceding in the fifth minute against Spain, the Irish are 9/1 to concede in the first five minutes vs Italy. Italy are 10/3 to score four or more goals and 16/5 to bag three goals.

“Euro 2012 has been a tournament to forget for Ireland but it is not over and Italy will be looking to take advantage of the porous Irish defence – especially early on,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Having waited ten years to qualify for a major tournament, it looks like another long wait for Irish fans with Hills offering 11/8 that they do not qualify for another tournament until after World Cup 2020.

With a 2-2 draw between Spain and Croatia enough to see them both through to the next stage of the tournament, Hills punters have latched onto that and backed the result in from 12/1 to 4/1. Spain are 1/7 to win the group with Croatia 5/1 and Italy 14/1.

Total Italy goals: 6/1 none; 11/4 one; 9/4 two; 16/5 three; 10/3 four or more+

Next Ireland tournament: 7/2 World Cup 2014; 11/8 Euro 2016; 7/1 World Cup 2020; 11/8 qualify for none of these

9/1 Ireland concede in the first five minutes vs Italy

1/4 Italy; 10/1 Rep of Ireland; 5/1 Draw
7/1 Croatia; 8/11 Spain; 7/4 draw

Group C winner: 1/7 Spain; 5/1 Croatia; 14/1 Italy

To qualify from Group C (not to): 1/25 Spain (9/1); 5/6 Croatia (5/6); 5/6 Italy (5/6)

1/16 Celtic Clinch The Title On Saturday

It’s been a long wait but it looks like the SPL
title will return to Celtic Park this weekend.
Celtic visit Rugby Park and only require a draw to
become Champions. Even if Celtic lose there
is still a chance the title will be theirs if Rangers
fail to win at St Mirren later that day. A defeat
for Celtic coupled with a Rangers win means they
they will need to wait another week and that’s a
7/1 chance
