Carroll is 7/2 to draw a blank in the entirety of Suarez’s absence.

There are question marks over the futures of two more of English football’s top strikers and Hills offer 11/10 that Bobby Zamora leaves Fulham this window and Even money that Didier Drogba leaves Chelsea in the same time frame. Bolton are the 15/8 favourites to be Zamora’s next club, while there are three Chinese sides (Shanghai Shenhua, Guangzho Evergrande and Dakaub Aerbin) at 3/1 to be Drogba’s next club.
