WEBB’S WORLD IS A WINNER

HOWARD WEBB, who was backed down from 6/4 to 4/11 to take charge of the World Cup Final, is more likely to award a penalty than to send a player off in normal time at the Final, say bookmakers William Hill who offer 3/1 about the former, and 7/2 the latter. ‘Webb was well backed to get the Final,so he is the only Englishman to cost us any sort of World Cup payout’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
