United 1/3 For The League and 4/1 To Do So By Seven Or More Points
Manchester United moved three points clear of Manchester City and William Hill make the Red Devils 1/3 to win the League, with City 9/4. Having moved three points clear, Hills are now offering a market on how many points they win the League by. They are 9/4 to fail to win the League and 11/2 to win the league on goal difference. They are 11/4 to win by one to three points and the same price to win by four to six points. They are 4/1 to win the League by seven or more points.
United rode their luck a little bit against Fulham and that is the kind of thing they will have to do from time to time if they are to win the League, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly. The difference between United and City at the moment is that neither side are playing vintage football, but United are still winning and that is tilting the balance in their favour.
United had a number of players on the pitch tonight who will be hoping to be going to the Euros with England, with Rio Ferdinand one of many who had a solid game. He is 8/11 to be on the plane (Evens not to). Phil Jones is 1/3 to go, Smalling 8/11 and Danny Welbeck 1/5. Paul Scholes is 4/1 to make the squad after he came on to replace Wayne Rooney.
