William Hill have closed the book on PFA Young Player of the year after Kyle Walker was backed in from 33/1 outsider to 5/6 to scoop the award. The straw that broke the camels back was when a punter in Leeds entered a shop asking to place £1200 on the Tottenham right back.
This is a market in which the outcome is predetermined and while the majority of punters who want a genuine bet outweigh those that already know, unfortunately we think we may have inadvertently found out the winner of the Young Player of the Year, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.
