7/2 For Blackburn’s Under Fire Trio To Leave Club

After the humiliating apology issued to Steve Kean and Morten Gamst Pedersen by Blackburn global advisor, Shebby Singh, William Hill are offering 7/2 that all three have left their positions by the end of the Championship season.

“It is no secret that Steve Kean is walking a tightrope after relegation last season but Shebby Singh has really turned the heat up on the manager now,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “His ill-advised comments about fans’ favourite, Morten Gamst Pedersen, however, have put Singh’s own position under threat.”

Blackburn are 10/1 joint fifth favourites to win the Championship behind favourites Bolton at 6/1 and Leicester at 7/1.

English Championship winner: 6/1 Bolton; 7/1 Leicester; 9/1 Leeds; 9/1 Wolves; 10/1 Blackburn; 10/1 Cardiff; 11/1 BAR

Blackpool Hit By Hammer Blow…irons Odds On To Stay Up

West Ham won the ‘Richest Game In English Football’ and earned themselves a place at the top table once again and William Hill now make The Hammers 8/11 to survive in the Premier League next season (Evens to go down). There always has to be one unlucky side in the Playoffs and Blackpool were that side on Saturday. Their fans should take heart however, as they are 5/1 to go up next season and 16/1 to win the league.

“West Ham are back where they feel they belong and it looks like their stay will be more than one season,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Blackpool 2012/13 Season: 16/1 Win the Championship;

West Ham 2012/13 season: 8/11 stay up; 1/1 relegated; 2000/1 win the League

Championship outright: 6/1 Leicester City; 8/1 Bolton Wanderers; 8/1 Wolves; 10/1 Birmingham; 11/1 Cardiff; 14/1 Brighton; 14/1 Leeds; 16/1 Blackburn; 16/1 Blackpool; 20/1 BAR

Book On Young Player Of The Year After Massive Gamble On Walker

William Hill have closed the book on PFA Young Player of the year after Kyle Walker was backed in from 33/1 outsider to 5/6 to scoop the award. The straw that broke the camel’s back was when a punter in Leeds entered a shop asking to place £1200 on the Tottenham right back.

“This is a market in which the outcome is predetermined and while the majority of punters who want a genuine bet outweigh those that already know, unfortunately we think we may have inadvertently found out the winner of the Young Player of the Year,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Europa League

Of the three English sides in the competition, Hills think that two of them will progress from this round, offering 5/6 about that happening. Hills go Even money that Manchester United outscore their noisy neighbours (City 7/4 and a tie 13/5).

Stoke could well struggle in their tie against Valencia and Hills offer 4/7 that they are eliminated in at the end of this round of fixtures.
