Drogba Backed To Stay At Chelsea But Who Else Is Sniffing Around?
Didier Drogba may be out of contract at Chelsea, but William Hill do not think that necessarily mean that the talismanic striker will be leaving Stamford Bridge, offering Even money that he starts next season at the Blues. Barcelona have reportedly targeted Drogba and have said they would be willing to offer a two year contract to the player and they are the 2/1 second favourites to take the Ivorian for the start of next season. Hills also offer 5/1 that he signs for Real Madrid and the same price that he goes to PSG. Another option could be for him to join his former teammate, Nicolas Anelka in China and he is 6/1 to sign for a side over there, while Manchester City are 12/1.
Despite his advancing years, Drogba is still coveted by the top teams around the world and should Chelsea fail to offer him what he wants, there will be no lack of suitors for him this summer, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.
William Hill Odds:
Didier Drogba club at the start of next season: 1/1 Chelsea; 2/1 Barcelona; 5/1 Real Madrid; 5/1 PSG; 12/1 Manchester City
