Carlos’ Argie Jaunt Could See Tevez Out Of The Door…foxes Snare Pearson

Following Carlos Tevez’s unscheduled break to Argentina, William Hill offer 1/3 that he leaves Manchester City during the January transfer window, whether permanently or on loan. The favourite to sign him is Juventus with the Old Lady 11/4 to be the next club to capture Tevez’s signature. Former club, Corinthians, are 4/1 while the two Milan sides, Inter and AC are both offered at 6/1.

“There is no doubting that Carlos Tevez is a brilliant player but any club who signs him will be doing so in the knowledge that they will probably be stuck with all his baggage as well,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Roberto Mancini has claimed that Tevez can play again for Manchester City if only he apologises for his recent behaviour but Hills do not think that is likely and he is just 1/6 to start a Premier League game for City this season.

Leicester Latest

Leicester City are expected to announce the signing of Nigel Pearson as their manager later today and William Hill offer 3/1 that he gets them promoted at the first time of asking. Given Leicester City’s reputation for sacking managers, should things not improve at the King Power Stadium, Pearson could be given his marching orders and Hills offer 7/1 that he will not be manager come the final day of the season (1/16 to still be there).

Goldenballs Beck To England But Tevez Could Be Off…

David Beckham’s contract with LA Galaxy is due to run out in November and William Hill think that his next contract will be in England offering 8/13 that he returns to these shores. With reported interest from PSG, Hills make France the 4/1 second favourite while he is 5/1 to stay in the US. Recent reports have suggested that Manchester United may be lining Becks up for a Sporting Director’s role and Hills make him 12/1 to fill that role before the end of 2012.

“Becks has never hidden the fact that he would love to return to Manchester United and while he may not be able to bend it as much as he used to, there may well be a seat with his name on in the upper echelons of Old Trafford,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

With Carlos Tevez coming back off his suspension, William Hill do not hold out much hope of him staying put for too long and Hills are offering odds on who he will join next. He is 11/4 to move to Juventus and 4/1 to join Corinthians.

William Hill think that Wayne Rooney will only miss one match of the European Championships following his red card against Montenegro. He is offered at 2/5 for his ban to be set at one game, while he is 7/4 to be the recipient of at least a two game suspension.

Tevez On The Move In January…4/9 Never To Start For City Again

Carlos Tevez has attempted to build bridges with Roberto Mancini but William Hill do not think that his excuses will fly with the City boss and make the former captain 4/9 to fail to start a single game for City in the Premier League this season. His exit from City would appear to be edging ever closer and Hills make Juventus the 11/4 favourites to be the next side to capture his signature. He is 4/1 to sign for Corinthians, while he is 6/1 to join either Inter or AC Milan.

“Tevez appears to have made his bed and City will now be desperate to get rid of him,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “It would seem that he will not feature in a City starting XI ever again and Turin may be his most likely destination.”
