Following the sacking of Steve Cotterill, William Hill make Darren Ferguson the 2/1 favourite to be named as the next permanent boss of Nottingham Forest although the ambitious new owners could be able to tempt Harry Redknapp to the club, offered at 4/1.

He is 9/2 to start six or more in the Premier League this time. A big impact this season is unlikely but he is 7/1 to make the England squad for the World Cup in 2014.
