Accordintolawrence A Penalty Kick? William Hill Soccer Am Horse Special Bets

Soccer AM’s newest signing of the equine variety – named Accordintolawrence – is set to make his next racecourse appearance when declared to run at Doncaster on Friday – and is 11-4 with bookmakers William Hill to score for his well-known new ownership.

The Charlie Longsdon-trained horse – leased by the Sky Sports leading football program – will carry the striking signature blue and white colours of the show, and will be ridden by jockey Felix de Giles in the 2.35 contest.

The show’s anchor Helen Chamberlain has dubbed the horse ‘Accordintoliamlawrence’ – after the Portsmouth right-winger, and William Hill are offering a 10-1 special double for Pompey and Accordintolawrence to taste victory this weekend.

A further 18-1 is available with William Hill for both Liam Lawrence (7-2 anytime) to score in Saturday’s game and his equine namesake to win on Friday.

William Hill also make the five-year-old 33-1 to win any race at jump racing’s biggest and most popular event – the Cheltenham Festival – in March.

WILLIAM HILL SOCCER AM HORSE SPECIALS

Accordintolawrence to win the 2.35 Doncaster on Friday: 11-4

Accordintolawrence to win any race at the 2012 Cheltenham Festival: 33-1

Accordintolawrence & Portsmouth double: 10-1

Accordintolawrence to win the 2.35 Doncaster on Friday & Liam Lawrence to score anytime for Portsmouth: 18-1

This is not the first time Soccer AM have dipped their toes into horse racing, with Teaforthree their first foray into the equine ownership world last year. The Rebecca Curtis-trained horse regularly appeared at Cheltenham and Welsh racecourses Chepstow and Ffos Las, before running well in top-class company at the Cheltenham Festival in March.

Accordintolawrence runs in the 2.35 at Doncaster on Friday.

Martinez 2nd Fav To Be Next Boss Out

MARTINEZ OUT’ ODDS COLLAPSE

Roberto Martinez has been backed from 16/1 to 2/1 second favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his club with William Hill who make Steve Kean 11/10 favourite with Steve Bruce at 11/4; Mick McCarthy 5/1; Owen Coyle 6/1. ‘Given Martinez’ decision to stay with Wigan rather than go to Villa last season we have never felt he was under much pressure despite adverse results, but of course, it is always possible that he may decide to walk away should results not improve soon’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe, ‘So when punters began to back him to be the next boss to go we had to act.’
HILLS MAKE MARTINEZ 5/6 TO BE WIGAN BOSS ON THE FIRST DAY OF NEXT SEASON, 5/6 NOT TO.

NEW Doncaster signing El Hadji-Diouf is 2/1 with William Hill to be sent off during his three month stint at the club. (Bets run until Jan 31, 2012 and are for 1st team competitive games only)
