Euro Final Set To Be Biggest Since World Cup Final

Up to 500 bets per minute are set to be placed on tonight’s Euros Final once the game kicks off, report William Hill. Anywhere up to £25 million is expected to have been wagered on the match in the build up to the game in the UK alone. “The final of any major tournament is always going to be a massive draw for our punters and they have already been getting involved with gusto. As things stand, over half of all bets placed have been for Spain to win,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “This match is set to be the biggest since the World Cup Final in 2010.”

Spain are 23/20 to win the match in 90 minutes, with Italy 11/4 and the draw 21/10. Spain are 8/15 to lift the trophy, while Italy are 6/4 to do so. Hills are offering a couple of matchwinners for tonight’s game, going 7/1 for Balotelli to score and Italy to win in 90 minutes, while the same price is offered for Iniesta to score anytime and Spain to win in 90 minutes. The match is 4/1 to go to penalties.

Llorente and Torres are the 6/1 favourites to open the scoring tonight, but should Del Bosque decide that he wants to start with no strikers once again, Fabregas and Pedro are offered at 7/1 and 9/1 repectively. Mario Balotelli looks the most likely to score for the Italians at 7/1.

1/8 For Balotelli To Receive Retrospective Ban

Mario Baolotelli could well face retrospective action after appearing to stamp on the head of Scott Parker. Bookmakers, William Hill, are offering odds of 1/8 that Balotelli receives a four match ban from the FA and 9/2 that he does not. With Balotelli already having one red card to his name, William Hill are odds on, at 4/7 that he does not receive another this season, although he is 9/4 to get one more red card and 7/2 to get two or more.

“Balotelli is a volatile character and is always likely to be in the headlines but we think that while it is likely that he will receive a ban this time around, it could be the shot in the arm that turns his season around,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Balotelli 4/1 To Be Suspended This Season-City Odds On For Top Two!
Mario Balotelli’s behavior continues to astound and Hills are offering 4/1 that his club suspend him at any point this year. He is 7/4 to start twelve or fewer games for the club, 5/4 to score six or less goals and 11/4 to be shown two or more red cards. Despite Balotelli’s antics, punters are piling in on Manchester City becoming the new power house of the Premiership and they are 8/13 to finish the season in either first or second place. Arsenal, on the other hand, continue to be friendless and they are 11/8 to finish between 5th and 10th.

“Nobody is disputing Balotelli’s talent but he comes with a fair amount of baggage and it would be no great surprise if City gave up on their man. That said, his antics are not putting off punters lumping on City to finish in the top two this season!” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
