Bookies were celebrating as their fine start to the season continued with shocks and upsets all over the country. Arsenal losing at home to West Brom was the biggest shock of the weekend with almost 95% of punters on the game placing their wagers on an Arsenal victory. West Brom have also been eased to 9/4 from 11/8 for relegation following todays result.

Despite losing for the first time this season, Chelsea are still the 10/11 favourites to win the Premier League this season with William Hill. Manchester City are 4/11 to finish in the top four with Arsenal priced at 1/6, Manchester United 1/25 and Chelsea 1/100.

The three Robertos performed minor miracles today and we will be making sure that they are all put on our Christmas card list this year, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.

Merseyside Misery
Liverpools disastrous start to the season continued, failing to win again, and Roy Hodgsons odds of being the next manager out of a job have shortened from 10/1 to 8/1. Everton are now rooted to the bottom of the Premier League and David Moyes is just 15/2 to be the next manager to leave their club. At the start of the season, Hodgson was 28/1 and Moyes was 33/1 to be the first manager to go.

At the start of the season, Moyes and Hodgson had two of the best reputations in the business. It could well be that they jump before they have their names dirtied by any more poor results, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.
