THE odds about Howard Webb reffing the World Cup Final have lengthened dramatically from 5/4 to 15/8 after it was suggested that his absence from the line up of Quarter Final matches was a signal that he would not eve be considered for the Final.
‘Webb has had a fine tournament and was well backed to get the Final but the rumours seem to suggest that doing the Champions League Final has worked against him and that his absence from the Quarters is a significant snub’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
