Following the news that both David Beckham and PSG have pulled the plug on his supposed move to Paris, William Hill are now offering 4/11 that his next competitive game is for the LA Galaxy and 4/1 that he signs for any other MLS side. Should he move to England, QPR are the favourites to sign him at 12/1 with Arsenal 16/1. A return to Spain looks the most unlikely outcome with Malaga the favourites of the Spanish sides to sign him up at 25/1.

Manchester United are firm favourites to defeat Newcastle, despite losing to Blackburn and William Hill make them 8/11 to win in the North East. Newcastle are 4/1 and the game should signal the return of Wayne Rooney to the starting line up.
