Gerrard Odds On To Start First Liverpool Game
WILL GERRARD BE FIT FOR SEASON?
WITH STEVEN GERRARD a non-runner on Liverpools pre-season tour of Asia, William Hill have opened a book on whether the Reds skipper will start their first Premier League game of the season and offer 2/5 that he WILL, 7/4 that he will NOT. Gerrard is still a key player for Liverpool and it would be a real setback for them if he was not fit enough to start their campaign said Hills spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Liverpool play Sunderland at Anfield in their opening game and are 7/20 to win it with Hills who make the visitors 6/1 and the draw 16/5.
